Our Approach

We are laying high-speed rail tracks on the information highway. We are packing the ideals and rude truth of the underground movement culture from the '60s and '70s. Add to that the anarchist cooperative spirit of the punk 'zine culture from the '80s and '90s. What we have here is another digital hammer to take its place among many, smashing the wall of lies and disinformation eroding democracy and public discourse.

Our Story

We are not buying that fantastic ticket for a journey to a mythical past greatness where homosexuality, color, and gender make you an outlaw subject to Gestapo violence from legal authorities and vigilantes alike. Too many forgotten heroes sweat and bled to redeem the democratic experiment. We will honor them and bring their stories into the light. We are not surrendering the progressive struggle nor pretending to lack bias in our values. That will be part of our honesty. We will strive to advocate with integrity. We hope even those that don't share our beliefs can trust our intent. We will argue and examine in good faith. We also hope to have some laughs along the way.

Meet the Team

Fun with placeholder images.

Regan McCook

Founder & CEO

Megan has established herself as an outstanding manager and collaborator. She is also nationally recognized by various progressive groups for finally explaining the concept of Mansplaining to Adam Broad with the use of sock puppets and a helpful chart.

Eric Teagan

Vice President

Eric supplies weed to our IT and marketing departments. Aside from keeping those teams happy, Regan thinks he makes a great pot of coffee. Timothy gives him credit for coming up ideas and cash to develop alternative revenue streams. It doesn't hurt that he volunteers at a local homeless shelter. He is also known for his witty observations on pop culture.

Timothy Barrett

Timothy has internalized the entire political history of the Black Panther movement and has an extensive background in History, Psychology, and Political economy. His previous work as a Radical Sociologist informs his insights of oligarchic-promoting mechanisms inherent within the foundation of our national Superstructure.

Next Steps...

No joke. The Grand Podcast of the Republic will not only discuss the issues of our day and provide context for them, we will provide opportunities for the listener to become an active participant.
